Position Responsibilities:
- Works jointly with sales managers in providing direction to customer space management
personnel regarding Category Management initiatives
- Provides fact-based recommendations on Company trade and spending decisions to achieve
annual sales and profit goals
- Interacts with and builds relationships with trade customers at many levels on a regular basis
with little or no guidance
- Engages independently in problem-solving by leveraging available data, tools and other resources
- Manages assigned T&E budget (with director s approval) - Category and thought leadership
at the customer
- Internal thought leadership and influence
- Develops and delivers the customer category strategy
- Budgets maximization System innovation and leadership
Position Experience/Qualifications:
- 4 Years Sup Studies - Bachelor of Science (BS)
- MBA desirable
- 5 years progressive Category Management experience, with strong knowledge of CPG industry (preferably
Grocery class of trade)
- Sales presentation development/preparation expertise
- Strong expertise with various sales analytic software (e.g. IRI/Nielsen, Apollo/ProSpace, Spectra), Excel and
PowerPoint
- Strong business acumen, attention to detail and understanding of the trade to make recommendations on
issues
