Job Title: Marketing Director Location: Dallas, TX
DESCRIPTION: This company is a fast growing sales and marketing company specializing in the development of personal beauty products. We are seeking a dynamic, creative individual with outstanding communication and marketing skills for a fast-paced work environment with great salary and benefits. You will report to the VP of Sales & Marketing and will work with key individuals on a variety of sales and marketing. Marketing Director is also responsible for ensuring the Marketing Department conforms to the company’s quality system procedures as documented.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Establish and or meet product/project objectives within specified time and budgetary requirements. • Develop business plan for products and establish processes for product launch. • Support the marketing needs of the sales team • Oversee Public Relations efforts • Strategically create and launch national advertising campaigns • Identify opportunity areas of growth by effectively using market research and competitive intelligence • Direct retail and club-store branded packaging strategy • Develop strong brand awareness • Direct market research projects on an as needed basis • Directs the corporate website and internet marketing strategy • Manages in-house creative group • Develop meaningful product positioning for product lines that creates added value versus competition and effectively communicates product advantages to the target audience • Market and promote initiatives to the sales force and customers to ensure corporate objectives • Manage the development, production, and distribution of all marketing materials to support sales and marketing activities; this includes sell sheets as well as customer-specific presentations and point of sale materials
REQUIREMENTS: • Four-year degree in marketing or related field plus 5-7 years prior experience in managing and executing product marketing of personal care products • Ability to strategically plan and successfully execute all phases of marketing • Work directly with outside vendors, publications, and sales personnel • Capable of prioritizing and simultaneously managing a variety of tasks • Must be a team player with experience working with cross functional teams required • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Strong customer service focus • Excellent organization and follow-ups skills • Copywriting skills a plus
