Position Overview:
Develop sales analysis to sales volume and profitability. Provide analysis and insights. Grow customer sales by using category
management information from customer sales data. Conduct ongoing sales analysis understand needs and to drive sales.
Work within the sales department and interface with the marketing department to analyze performance and provide insights. This
person is responsible for providing accurate reporting, analysis, and recommendations on customer activity, strategies, and
opportunities based upon analysis of promotional, seasonal, and competitive trends
Duties/Responsibilities:
Focus is on sales of the company’s products relative competition and other products in the general category through database
management, new item introductions, and changes in the category environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years relevant business experience in consumer packaged goods industry or broker
Knowledge of the consumer packaged goods retail trade
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to influence customer contacts
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and analytical and problem solving abilities
Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Nielsen or other syndicated data and competent in PowerPoint
