Job Title: Director of Business Development, C-store Channel
Location: Chicago, St. Louis
SUMMARY:
Execute recruitment and installation of convenience channel retailers to enable a successful C-store Pilot and ensuing rollout.
Manage C-store retailer relationships to build long-term business partnerships. Develop and present network results highlighting
the favorable impact of Company manufacturer programs on retailer sales, trips and shopper satisfaction. Gain active
endorsement of syndicated content across C-store accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revenue Goals:
• Assist project goal of attaining 12% strike rate in C-store channel.
Account Management:
• Negotiate win-win network agreement contract with C-store targets
• Manage retailer testing and store installations of solution equipment in new C-store chains.
• Design and manage efficient and effective introductory awareness campaign to kickoff network launch with store employees
and customers.
• Gain retail chain approval to participate in all syndicated Company programs.
• Penetrate client headquarters and field organizations to develop strong business relationships and strategic alliances by
selling clients strategic ownership of the Company network.
Interpersonal Relationships:
• Proven success in collaboration with support organizations.
• Utilize and manage internal resources (Client Services, Analytics, Manufacturer Directors) to maximize opportunity to
efficiently execute syndicated content in all C-store chains
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: College degree or equivalent in-depth industry experience.
Experience: Five to eight years previous sales experience in related industry; emphasis in marketing, promotion or direct retail
loyalty sales.

• Ability to interface at all levels of management.
• Proven track record of developing industry relationships with clients and peers, vendors and business partners.

• Ability to work independent of supervision and make decisions of wide variety and complexity.
• Able to professionally perform multi-media sales presentations.

• Understanding of C-store channel retailing and ability to make recommendations to address strategic marketing initiatives.
