Regulators Get Wrigley to Pull Caffeine Gum, but They're Not Scaring Monster - brandchannel

According to brandchannel, Wrigley has decided to pull Alert caffeinated gum from the market.  Monster Energy Drinks remains insistent that their products are safe.

FOOD navigator-usa.com reported April 30, 2013 that the FDA was reviewing the health effects of caffeinated food products on children.

Caffeinated-food products have become very common. ¬† “Jelly Belly Extreme Sport Beans (50 mg per ounce), Cracker Jack’D (35 mg per ounce) and Perky Jerky (150 mg per ounce)…contain significant amounts of caffeine.” Live Science.
